I was born and raised in a small farming village in The Netherlands, named Ysbrechtum. Growing up there was fun, my friends and I played at nearby farms, milking cows, riding horses, chasing roosters and generally raising hell. Yes, I milked cows....it was fun to learn at first, but later on I did it to make extra money.
I went to high school at a nearby town called Sneek (pronounced Snake). During my senior year I sent a school picture to a magazine that was holding a modeling contest. The winner would receive a contract with a modeling agency in Brussels, Belgium. I didn't win, but I didn't lose either, the agency that was backing the contest offered me a contract as well....more
